Giving Back This Festive Season with Recycled Plastic Furniture For Two Eastern Cape Schools
As the 2025 year came to a close and we were looking forward to the festive season, the team at Unique Timber Plastics was reminded of the importance of community, connection, and contribution.
Giving Back to the Youth Through Sustainable Design
By the end of last year, we were proud to be giving back to our community by partnering with two exceptional schools in the Eastern Cape, Kingswood College in East London and St Andrew’s College in Grahamstown.
Both institutions are well known for their long-standing traditions, strong values, and commitment to shaping young minds. With their scholar and staff numbers growing each year, we saw that the donation of our high-quality recycled plastic furniture would prove to be a wonderful opportunity to contribute something meaningful to their campuses.
To support their beautifully expanding outdoor spaces, we donated several pieces of furniture made from 100% recycled plastic planks. These benches and seating areas are designed not only for comfort and convenience, but to also stand the test of time and offer a welcoming space for generations of learners to come.
Whether it’s enjoying a lunch break, catching up with friends, studying outdoors, or simply taking in a breath of fresh air, these new eco-friendly seating areas are already adding life and connection to the schools’ beautiful surroundings.
